Hi,
In what way was the beta 7.4 Loader not working? Did it crash?
We have tested the new loaders with PHP 7.4.4 so they should work. _________________ Alastair

Current beta loaders are failing for me too.
Ioncube encoded files (WHMCS) cause PHP-FPM to crash:
[12-Apr-2020 21:40:24] WARNING: [pool valet] child 250732 exited on signal 11 (SIGSEGV - core dumped) after 1.724446 seconds from start
[12-Apr-2020 21:40:24] NOTICE: [pool valet] child 250758 started
That's using php 7.4.3 are shipping with Ubuntu 20.04. |

Hi,
Please would you create a ticket in our Support Help Desk about this at https://support.ioncube.com Please attach your full phpinfo output to the ticket as a single HTML file.
Please also mention in your ticket whether you are encoding files yourself (as an add on for WHMCS) or just running encoded files. _________________ Alastair

Logs:
[15-Apr-2020 09:54:42] WARNING: [pool www] child 9651 exited on signal 11 (SIGSE
GV) after 256.485948 seconds from start
[15-Apr-2020 09:54:42] NOTICE: [pool www] child 9739 started

You probably won't be able to do it before the summer of 2020

@wesmar
Thanks for the report.
If you have a self-contained test case that can reproduce the crash with the 7.4 beta loader then that would be great. If you do then please create a ticket in our support Help Desk at https://support.ioncube.com _________________ Alastair
