OK,
mabye the joy from 64-bit ionCube encoder was a little bit premature. Now getting messages from users that the application compiled with the 64bit macOS version causes segfaults. Seems to be related to older PHP versions which we still (have to) support.
We can confirm this in our test environment.
Server environment:
- CentOS Linux 7 64bit
- PHP 5.4.16
- ionCube PHP 10.3.9
Apache error_log:
[Mon Nov 18 20:05:33 2019] [warn-ioncube] Can't deserialise zval type 254 (pid 85947)
[Mon Nov 18 20:05:34.673297 2019] [core:notice] [pid 85503] AH00052: child pid 85947 exit signal Segmentation fault (11).
Let me know if you need additional info.

Hi,
Please would you create a ticket about this in our Support Help Desk at https://support.ioncube.com You can create the ticket for the "Sales" department.
In the ticket please would you attach as much information as possible:
1. The full phpinfo() output on that PHP 5.4.16 system.
2. Your encoding project file (.iep file).
3. If possible, a self-contained test case that reproduces the problem with your encoding settings and on PHP 5.4. _________________ Alastair
