When a build is performed the event log displays some messages, and if there is an error, a simple text line is added. It's easy to over look.
Suggestion: When there is an error change the entire white background of the tab to yellow, or some other readily noticeable change. |

We'll definitely consider this, but please note that the colour of the encoding status indicator is also indicative of the encoding state. Green for success, red for failure etc. The status indicators are in the bottom right of the GUI. _________________ Community Admin |

Yes, but it's not readily seen either. It's down in the lower right next to other buttons that can can change color and or flash. It's there just like the text but you need to look to see it.
With a big change you can tell at a glance. You don't even need to be looking at the window. For example, your eyes are on the FTP windows, starting to drag a file over and you can see with your side vision that there was an error.
Maybe even have an optional user defined sound for error event. |
