We likely will add FreeBSD 10, but until then the FreeBSD 9 Loader should work fine too. You *may* need to install a FreeBSD compat library for FreeBSD 9 (if there is one). _________________ Community Admin |

Hello, I will task myself this week to setup a VPS for your head C developers to compile support for FreeBSD 10. Could you please have your head developer email me to co-ordinate date and time for me to prepare a VPS.
Even using latest one from your site the following segfaults are happening with popular products like WHMCS:
# /usr/local/bin/php -q /www/secure/crons/domainsync.php
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
#
Running analysis against core, seems to be happening when talking with mariadb 5.5 database(otherwise seems to be working ok). I am willing to help your developers fix problem by providing a FreeBSD 10 VPS with root access for them to do with as they will.
Dan.

I should state for FreeBSD 10 I have now confirmed it is the latest version of
ioncube loaders that are tossing segfaults. Version 4.6.0 on site I believe for php 5.4(version that supports whmcs) is problematic.
I tried rolling back ioncube to ports version of 4.5.3 and that is working successfully currently. I do have /usr/ports/misc/compat9x libraries installed as well.

@syleishere We produce Loader builds in-house but thanks for the offer of the VPS anyway. Please create a ticket at http://support.ioncube.com and we can let you know what information we require to look at the segfault and take things from there. _________________ Community Admin |

You can simply just load the latest version of loader go into a whmcs default install
and on even their index.php file do:
php ./index.php
and watch it segfault.

Hi,
Thanks for the follow up.
Does the same segfault occur with PHP 5.3 and the version 4.6.0 ionCube Loader? _________________ Alastair

Hi,
Just to let you know we have released version 4.6.1 of the ionCube Loader which may fix the issue that you have been experiencing.
Please let us know whether that does fix the problem for you. _________________ Alastair

Well I can confirm no more seg faults with this version on php 5.4. Everything seems to be running smooth on FreeBSD 10. Might as well release this as a stable package for it.
Good Job,

I came here because I thought I had a problem, but it was just user error.
SO far it looks to work as hoped.
Thanks!!! |
