is it possible that make ipf user to set motif image size fit to their own in the future (in technical affair)? or set installer window size before build.
some design feature to make more stylish installer moreover than common type will be very useful. is this in your todo list? |

Not at the moment, although we have recently been discussing this issue internally. The size and design of installer wizards follow the Microsoft user interface guidelines, that give precise details of how an installer wizard should look. Interfaces for the same general concept should as far as possible be consistent and the same across applications in order to match user's expectations, current knowledge and experience, and to avoid confusing the user.
Of course, this does not mean that an installer has to follow guidelines, and with higher resolution screens now commonplace, the Microsoft guidelines do seem out of date.
Custom size and support for different sized graphics may be a feature of future installers. _________________ Community Admin |

What do you mean by the Install Shield 'new look'? Do you know any examples? Do you just mean the 'turned page' image in the top right of the wizard? You can do that with IPF too (you can have any image in the top-right). |
