One of our clients has a problem to run ioncube and eaccelerator at the same time. Our application tell him, that the script cannot be processed because an untrusted PHP zend engine extension is installed.

Is there any way to run ioncube while using these two http specials:
Code:
    php_flag eaccelerator.enable 0
    php_flag eaccelerator.optimizer 0
Have you any informations about eaccelerator in combination with ioncube?

kind regards,

Hi

There are possibly two things required in this case. Firstly, the customer should obtain a version of their scripts that are encoded by the provider to allow untrusted extensions. Second, you may need to patch EA to allow the Loader to be installed, however as you've received an error from the Loader, it indicates that it's being installed successfully; possibly with runtime install.

You may also be interested to learn of our upcoming PHP Performance System. This new product includes a new accelerator that even unoptimised, is already out performing both its forrunner PHPA and APC, and will feature other powerful technologies. Being an ionCube product, this will be fully supported, and be the best solution for serious end users where the risk of crossing the point of no return with a tool that can suddenly become unsupported is unacceptable, and which has actually been the case with EA for several months now. More announcements will follow in the coming weeks on this, so stay tuned!
