Is there a way to have an encoded file to only expire based on some type of external information (i.e. as in an .ini file)?

You mean a file that someone could easily change to defeat the setting? Wink

What you probably need are license files, and this is coming with version 6, due for release shortly. It doesn't make sense to have an expiry, or any restriction information, in a file that can be edited by the end user, but it can be useful to have restriction information that is separate to the encoded files. License files provides this, and you'll be able to encode the files once, and then send an end user a license file with the restriction information. You can send the end user new license files without having to reencode the scripts.
