Hi there,

Is it possible to restrict the encoded files to a particular domain name ? Since i don't want to restrict by IP address or server name since my customer is free to choose which server hosts the application...

Thanks in advance !

Hi,

Yes, we mean 'server name' in the sense of the ServerName directive in in Apache's httpd.conf (if you are familiar with Apache). Hence 'server name' in the Encoder is basically the domain name used during the request.

Server name does not mean the 'name of the machine'.

Hope this clears things up!
