Recursive memory leak?

I'm using ioncube as the loader for amember on a new RHEL4 machine. When amember fires up, it causes some kind of memory leak, and PHP hits the memory cap (8MB) and the page dies. I've tried values all the way up to 128MB with no change.

EG:
[Mon Dec 12 22:36:47 2005] [error] [client x.x.x.x] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 40 bytes) in /www/kingkong/htdocs/members/rconfig-ioncube.inc.php on line 71, referer: http://testserver.kingkong.com/contact

Any ideas?

Inter.

This may be an issue in PHP 5.1.1 as aMember has been available ionCube encoded for at least a year or two and we've not had reports of issues with that product. We'll follow up in the helpdesk as it's a specific issue.

We have just released Loader 3.0.15 containing updates for PHP 5.0 and 5.1 on Linux. The other main OS releases will follow soon. This release resolves a few issues that could occasionally occur when running some types of PHP4 encoded files on PHP5, including possibly reaching the memory limit for a request and/or script execution timeout on PHP 5.1.
