Recently just downloaded the new version 6.0. How exactly does the include file protection work? If you use the include key is that a variable I have to set if I want to include the encoded files into an unencoded file?

Thanks

Hi

With the include file protection, you cannot include an encoded file into an unencoded file - this is the point Smile

Is it possible to tell the encoder not to encode a plain php configuration file included by other files, but to encode all the other files that include the configuration file?

Sure. Essentially you're just saying don't encode a particular file, and that's not a problem. If you have a particularly complex setup where you want maximum include protection on most files, but to relax it on some, then you may exceed what the GUI can express currently, but you could always export a batch file (or create a shell script if using Unix) and edit that to run the Encoder more than once on the project soi that you can encode different parts of the project with different settings. Using the --merge feature, you can combine multiple encodings into one target, so essentially you have total flexibility.
