Hi guys,

Is it possible to elect not to install the evaluation version of IPF when installing the encoder ? For example, when upgrading to a new version of the encoder, it automatically installs IPF evaluation, even though I already have the full version of IPF installed. It doesn't affect anything adversely, but can be annoying, as I then usually have to uninstall it again to keep the machine 'clean'

Will.

Hi

Not currently, but the point is noted and this is something that we may add into future packages.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for that. One thing I've noticed is that as soon as the IPF evaluation installation is uninstalled, it affects the IPF integration with encoder.

When trying to create an installation package from encoder, it fails with an error that says the IPF executable can't be found and IPF needs to be reinstalled.

If I leave the evaluation version installed, when I try create a package from encoder, it tries to use the evaluation version even if I have the full version installed.

Will.

PS. v6 leaves the competition in the dust! Smile
