Dear IonCube,
I had posted about an issue during folder selection, and my post has been deleted. I did get a reply notification, but only to see the post was gone when I got here.
Why the deletion?
Puzzled.

Hi
Not sure when you had the reply, but we had someone posting spam replies to forum posts over the last couple of days and it may have been an accidental victim of the posts being cleaned. The forum is monitored closely both with robots and humans to keep it clean, and AFAIK only the bogus replies were removed. So while the email about a reply was effectively incorrect as there was no (genuine) reply and might link to a post that no longer exists, the threads that were replied to should still exist. Apologies if yours did fall by the wayside. _________________ Community Admin |

Good news, the thread is back. We have a hidden forum where bogus material is moved to for analysis, and evidently the entire thread was moved instead of just the offending response. _________________ Community Admin |

Thanks! Please feel free to delete this one, and I look forward to your feedback in the last
Time for a captcha I think! We have had similar problems with phpBB at our whoiscart forums. |

Maybe. If we do then we'd add a recaptcha, but it's nice not to have to do this if possible. There is our own spam filtering behind the scenes that's quite effective with the current level of spam attempts, but we'd take further steps if it became a real problem. _________________ Community Admin |
