|
|
Hi,
A client's website uses PHP 5.4 and Loader 4.7
Is it possible to target that older Loader using the latest Encoder? So far I've been unsuccessful. |

Hi,
Ideally they would update their Loader but, if they cannot, then you will need to use "obsolete" (version encoding.
To do that, in the Quickstart tab of the Project settings in the GUI please select "Obsolete (8.3)" as the Encoder version. You will also need to select 5.4 as the source language version. _________________ Alastair

I did that but it still didn't work. Any idea how to debug it?
FYI, I don't have direct access to the server but can request logs. |

Hi,
It would be best if you created a ticket in our Support Help Desk at https://support.ioncube.com . Please attach the phpinfo() output from the server to the ticket as a single HTML file. Please also attach your encoding project file (.iep file). Finally, please also include any error messages displayed or logged when you run your encoded application on that server. _________________ Alastair

Looks like there was some PHP incompatibility and low memory issue not related to Ioncube. |
