is it possible to create/manage a project in the windows gui, then process that project file from the command line?

when i launch the non-gui app, the instructions just take 2 arguments which appear to be the source path and the destination path.

i appologize if my answer is in the help file, but i did not see it there. i'm going to dig around the file system to see if i can find other documentation. i'm just running an eval right now.

thanks

Hi

Check the User Guide PDF. Everything that you can do is described there for the command line - and there's lots of it, so find a comfy chair and have your favourite drink to hand Smile

As a quick start, you'll find an Export Batch File menu item to create a batch file that acts the same as when you trigger the encoding via the GUI. Having created your GUI project, use the export feature and go from there with your batch file. The batchfile also ends with %1, making it easy to pass extra command line arguments if you need to occasionally, such as -v or --verbose
