I've just purchased a linux license. I am following the docs but the command is not working

I run this command
Code:

./ioncube_encoder.sh --acquire-license

and this is the output
Code:

You must set an Encoding language. Enter -h for help.

Hi,

It is better to ask such questions in our Support Help Desk at http://support.ioncube.com

Anyway, as the error message suggests, you simply need to add a PHP language flag to the command:

./ioncube_encoder.sh -56 --acquire-license

The "-56" signifies PHP 5.6 as the encoding language but it does not matter which one you use to acquire the license. So using "-4" (indicating PHP4) as the language would work as well as "-56".
