We purchased a script from a company in unfortunately from India.

We spend thousands of dollars on this script.

We just ended all relation with them.

Just wanted to know does ionCUBE allows the coders to remotely block our script?
We will hired a third party php coder to update our script.

Obviously we do not intend to change the domain where the script is licensed.

In few words since we ended all relationship with this Indian company we are thinking if they can vindicate and block our license.

I am not sure if I understood you correctly. You want to suspend your script working remotely?
If this is what you want to do, www.phplicengine.com does this job. You can automate your ionCube licensing with PHPLicengine and add a key/value pair to your ionCube license. Then you can fetch the key property from your ionCube license and send it to your PHPLicengine server to validate it remotely. It can be validated or suspended.

Unfortunately Peter is concerned about the possibility that someone *can* disable their scripts.

The answer is that they may be able to, however it is intentionally not a standard functionality with current versions. A developer could implement such a scheme though.

It would be best to ensure that you part on good terms with your developer, and if you wish to have updates to the software in the future, make sure that you have the source code to the software from the developers so that your new developers can work with it.
